Berthold Albiez, proprietor of the Moerlein Cafe, 211 West Federal street, died Wednesday in the West Penn hospital Pittsburgh. He had been ailing for some time and had entered the institution only a few days prior to his death for treatment. Mr. Albiez was born 1850 in Aha, Baden, Germany. He came to America thirty years ago and since then had been located most of the time in Pittsburgh. About a year ago he came to Youngstown and purchased the Moerlein Cafe. He had been twice married, first to Miss Christine Hold and later to Miss Christine Hilgert, who survives with five children. No particulars regarding the funeral of the deceased could be learned on Thursday but it is thought that burial will be made in Pittsburgh.

Mrs. Christina Albiez, aged 62, widow of Bartorf [Berthold] Albiez, died yesterday in her home, 427 Ninth avenue, Munhall. She was born in Germany and came to this country when a young girl. She had been a resident of Munhall 35 years. She was a member of the St. Francis German Catholic Church of Homestead and leaves two sons, Albert Albiez of Crafton, and Lawrence Albiez at home, and one daughter, Miss Nellie Albiez, at home.

Funeral services Wedensday at 2 pm at her late residence, 67 Industry Street, near Delmont Street, Beltzhoozer, Pittsburgh. Friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend. Interment in St Paul's Cemetery.

Mrs. Albertine Albitz Rexinger, age 73 years, died yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock at her residence, 18 Kelly street.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Kate C. Fischer of San Jose, Cal.; by two brothers, Professor H.C. Albitz of Atlanta and W.E. Albitz of St. Louis, Mo.
Before coming to Atlanta two years ago, Mrs. Rexinger resided at Lake Charles, La., where she was postmistress for many years.
The body will be held until the arrival of relatives before the funeral takes place.

Word has been received of the death of Frederick Albietz, son of Mr. G. Albietz, Upper Don, from wounds received in action. Deceased had been at the front for some time and received a medal for bravery at Pozieres. He was well known in Bowen and Proserpine and was very popular and his death will be deeply regretted.

The funeral of Mrs. Charles Albietz was held at 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon at the family residence, 1227 North Warren Street. There was a large attendance, and many beautiful floral tributes were sent. The services were conducted by Rev. T. Harley Marsh, pastor of the First Baptist Church. The music was furnished by Miss Caroline Bean and Miss Ethel Mitchell. Miss Consuello Cummings was the accompanist. The flowers were in charge of Miss Flora Bridges, Miss Lida Snow, Miss Edna van Buskirk, Miss Irene Harding, Miss Anna Stough, Miss Margaret Stough, Miss Harshbarger and Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Harding. The pallbearers were Henry Curry, E. W. Barkman, Frank Berg, Fred Klick, Charles Myers and Charles Cook. The interment was in Greenwood.

Frances KAELIN died yesterday after a short illness at her home, 645 Silkworth avenue, Richmond Hills. She is survived by her husband, Charles and four children. The funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:30 A.M. from her late home; thence to St. Mary's R.C. Church, Jamaica, where a requiem mass will be celebrated. Interment at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
