Born June 1, 1952, in Beaver Falls, he was a son of Genevieve Albitz, of New Galilee, and the late Charles Albitz. A gunsmith by trade, he owned and operated Gun's Galore in New Galilee. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce A. and Raymond Priestas, Big Beaver; a brother and sister-in-law, Gary C. and Alice Ann Albitz, East Palestine, Ohio; a nephew, Vincent L. Priestas, Big Beaver; four nieces, Dana M. Albitz, New Galilee; Lisa R. Daily, New Waterford, Ohio; Delsea Rae Russell, Milan, Mich., and Shana R. Priestas, White Township; a great nephew, Zane M. Priestas-Kish, White Township, and a great niece, Brieanna R. Russell, Milan, Mich. In addition, he is survived by the support of loving cousins and a whole town of loyal friends. He will be greatly missed by his companion, Buck. Friends will be received today from 2 to 8 p.m. in the LUTTON CHIPPEWA FUNERAL HOME, 117 Blackhawk Road, www.luttonfuneralhome.com, where a blessing service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. Father James Krah will officiate. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. |

Born Oct. 10, 1922, in New Galilee to the late Ambrose and Jenny Villa Montegazzi, she was retired from the Big Beaver Falls Area School District. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Albitz, in 1986 and a son, Jeffrey A. 'Moose' Albitz, in 2009. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Gary Charles and Alice Ann Albitz, East Palestine; a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Ray Priestas, Darlington; two sisters, Rita Shell, Negley, OH and Lucy Montegazzi, Beaver; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 8 p.m. in the GABAUER-MATTER FUNERAL HOME, 3500 Third Ave., Koppel, PA, www.gabauermatterfuneralhome.com, where a blessing service will be conducted Tuesday at noon with Father Bill Schwartz officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. |
