Home Wedding

Marriage of Miss Dora Adkesson to Claude Albietz—Church Wedding.

A quiet home wedding occurred last night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Adkesson, 1004 Walnut street, where their oldest daughter, Miss Dora Adkesson, was married to Claude Albietz, son of Charles Albietz, 1206 East Leafland avenue.
Standing under a canopy of asparagus and tuberoses the couple were met by Rev. F. B. Jones of the Christian Tabernacle who performed the ceremony at 8 o’clock. About one hundred friends of the couple were present.

The bride was gowned in a becoming costume of silk mull, trimmed with applique lace and white satin ribbon. She wore a small bouquet of bride’s roses. Following the ceremony there was a sumptuous wedding supper served by the bride’s parents. The table was decorated with bouquets of cut flowers and trailing vines of asparagus.

The couple were the recipient of many beautiful presents. The bride, the daughter of C. B. Adkesson, the well know tinner, is an accomplished young lady, and has a host of friends.

The groom is a packer at the Suffern & Hunt Mills and is an energetic young man. After a bridal tour the couple will be at home to friends at 1004 South Walnut street, after August 12.
